Conclusi i primi due giorni di riprese!/ The first two days of shooting are over!

Ciao a tutti!

Here we are. Survivors of these first two days of shooting. Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th, Essi Girano started officially its new short movie, The Long Night of Victor Kowalsky! Some important scenes were shooted in a not-so-cozy bathroom, built ad hoc by our troupe through a long and hard scenography work, for best creating the atmosphere we want our movie to have.
Protagonist of these firts days on the set was obviously Cristiano Burgio, performing as Victor, the main character of the movie and of this long night... Cristiano showed himself as a very talented and professional actor (we already knew that), so full of kindness, sympathy, and humilty (that is always good, and that every actor should have). He mastered every situation the director put him in, respected the troupe's work, and he was always precise and willing in every scene, even in adverse situation where acting was hard. He showed reliability and abnegation, qualities that good actors have, and suffered “happily” for all the (psycho)phisical tortures Essi Girano inflicted on him (like remaining most of the time half-naked and often wet in a place so cold!). We're sorry, Cristiano! You know, Art requires pain, sometimes...
A small part in these scenes was for Ferdinando Ferrini, playing a character very close to Victor... We'd like to thank him for his competence, his sympathy and his willingness to suffer for two hours of make-up just for a few (so far) minutes of shooting!
Tired but satisfied, the members of Essi Girano offered and will offer all of their effort and their competence in this work, that wants to be high enough for your and our expectations, and that is still on the first half of its way. So many scenes to go, and so much work to do! We'd like to thank all of you that followed and supported us, and that will keep to. We need all of you! Give us a “Like” on The Long Night of Victor Kowalsky's Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/victorkowalskyfilm). Have a look on the other Essi Girano channels: this blog, our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/essigirano), our site (www.essigirano.it) and our YouTube channel (Essi Girano on YouTube). More news are coming...

Bye guys!
