Manca poco... Anzi pochissimo! Domani Essi Girano darà il via alle prime riprese del suo nuovo cortometraggio, La lunga notte di Victor Kowalsky! Sabato 16 e Domenica 17, infatti, gireremo alcune scene del film, ambientate in quello che è il poco accogliente bagno di Victor...
Per l'occasione abbiamo costruito praticamente dal nulla questo primo set; è stata un'impresa impegnativa, perché la scenografia risulta una delle sfide più importanti e difficili di quest'opera...
Oltre a questo abbiamo svolto anche le prime prove di trucco e stiamo studiando anche come realizzare alcuni effetti speciali (altra grande prova per questa nuova esperienza)...
Siamo inoltre lieti di annunciarvi che il casting si è concluso! Vi andiamo dunque a svelare quali saranno i volti che animeranno l'incubo di Kowalsky!
- Nel ruolo del protagonista troviamo Cristiano Burgio, attore teatrale fiorentino.
- Ferdinando Ferrini, caratterista mugellano, che ha preso parte anche in Un tè con Mussolini di Franco Zeffirelli, sarà un inquietante personaggio, molto legato a Victor...
- Luca Massaroli, un giovane attore emergente di Como, interpreterà un misterioso motociclista...
- Nei panni di una grottesca vicina avremo invece Gloria Coco, attrice romana, che ha recitato anche in Incontri proibiti, l'ultimo film di Alberto Sordi.

Just a little bit, a very very little bit! Tomorrow Essi Girano will start the shooting of its new short movie, The Long Night of Victor Kowalsky! Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th we will shoot some of the scenes of the movie, set in Victor's not-so-cozy bathroom... For this purpose we built the scenography from the very start. It was challenging, being scenography is one of the most important and difficult challenges of this work. Besides, we tried different kinds of make-up and we're also studying how to realize some of the Fxs (the other big challenge of this experience).
And we're prooud to announce the casting is over! Here we go, unveiling the faces that will give life to Victor's nightmare!
- In the role of the main character, Cristiano Burgio, a theatrical actor from Florence.
- Ferdinando Ferrini, a typecast from Mugello, that had also a part in Tea with Mussolini by Franco Zeffirelli, will be a disturbing character, very close to Victor...
- Luca Massaroli, a rising young actor from Como, will act as a mysterious biker...
- As a weird neighbor, Gloria Coco, an actress from Rome, that acted also in Incontri Proibiti, the last movie by Alberto Sordi.
